Dear Members,

The month of May has come and gone. We braved a cool Belle River and welcomed a pleasant Memorial Day Weekend. We all had a grand time at Cove Marina, Canada. We started off the weekend with an impromptu Happy Hour Dockside Party on Friday. On Saturday we played a new game of Sidewalk Bowling. Jerry Katz and Barb Grouse walked away with first place prizes. That evening, dinner was steak and chicken. The side dishes were provided by the ladies and of course they were delicious.

The fun continued on Sunday, with a fun game of silly golf. Glorianne and Jerry were the winners and collected their prizes after a dinner of hamburgers and hot dogs.

Thanks to all who attended. Thanks to all who helped with the event. Thanks to Chris, Jim and Ken for doing a great rendezvous. I hope everyone had a good time.

June brings a free weekend to Metro Beach Marina on June 123-13-14. We will be doing a casual weekend. Visit with your boating friends. (See enclosed flyer). We will be going to nearby restaurant for dinner. Come by boat or car. Enjoy the day with us.

Then get ready for our big trip of the boating season. July 4th awaits us in Lexington. Great food, parades, games and beach time await us. Lexington is like a trip to the past. The good old days are remembered here. Step back in time and enjoy the parade and fireworks. The Gauvreau and Maguire Families will be hosting the weekend. Hope to see everyone there. We are expecting a great turnout.
