Dear Members,

Absolutely, positively, without a doubt, the time has come! Spring has arrived and everyone is diligently working to get their boats in the water. All seems to be in readiness. Shrink wraps are coming off, bottom paint is going on, and the scent of cleaner and wax fills the air.

Prior to the start of the Spring Auction, Glorianne swore in our two remaining Directors, Eric Kinney and Eileen Kwasnik. Congratulations!!!

SOLD!!! To the lovely young lady up front. SOLD!!! To the handsome young man in back was heard all evening by “Lightning Jaws” Duane Michno. Many great items were donated to the Auction. The bidders were very generous, which made for a profitable evening. The Bake Sale was a great addition to the evening. We had Strawberry Pie, Cheese Cakes, Pound Cakes, Brownies, Apple Pie, Coconut Cream Pie, Blueberry Pie, Cup Cakes and more. Thanks Flo for the suggestion, it was a great idea. Much thanks to all that attended the Auction. Also special thanks for the All American Dinner of Hot Dogs, Sloppy Joe’s and all the fixing (it sure hit the spot). Thanks Duane, Linda, Flo and Tom for an outstanding job.

I would also like to remind everyone that the boating rendezvous season will begin with the Spring Launch at Belle River hosted by the Funk’s followed by the Memorial Day Rendezvous at Cove Marina hosted by the Fougerousse Family. (See the enclosed inserts).
